A Busy Month

December is a busy month no matter how you look at it. The holidays bring wonderful get togethers, programs, and activities. This year, as you know, it has also brought about a home improvement streak. Here's a snapshot of why my blog hasn't been updated in awhile. In the past 2-3 weeks we have...

• Painted: 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen
• Painted: all trim in these areas plus our bedroom (still need to finish)
• Flooring: wood floors in living room & dining room plus two halls
• Flooring: carpet in all three bedrooms (and yeah, you have to take EVERYTHING out of all the closets in the house)
• Flooring: today they are here tiling the small bathroom
• Fixtures: Jason replaced the sink top, faucet and light fixtures in the small bathroom so that it all matches (novel idea!)
  
• Furniture moving: clear the living room, move all items from 3 bedrooms and closets into the living room, move everything back out of the living room for wood floors, finally, move everything where it goes
• cleaned half the items out of our attic and sent a carload to donation and a truckload to the landfill (sorry earth!)
• cleaned out most of the garage
• celebrated Christmas by going out of town for 4 days

Whew! I am sick of painting and of moving heavy objects! Hopefully some before / after pictures coming.
