Last night was the ceremony at Taekwondo. Jocelyn did indeed receive her orange belt. She is very happy about it calling it her "most prized possession". I think we'll celebrate by taking her to see High School Musical 3 at the theater this weekend (at least that is the plan). The gentleman tying the belt on Jocelyn is her teacher. 
The gentleman she is about to shake hands with owns the 3 Taekwondo training sites in Columbia (including this one) and is a "master". 
Notice how serious she is now that she's got a new belt ? :) At the testing, one of the instructors asked her how far she wants to go in Taekwondo. I'm sure the typical answer (and the one they were expecting) was 'to get a black belt'. Well, Jocelyn is nothing if not original and she said that she wanted to get a purple belt. Jason said this response brought a few smiles/chuckles. There is actually a purple belt in the system that she is involved in (and it's a few more belts away), but I'm sure a purple belt could've been beaten out by anything with pink sequins. We're so proud of you, Jocelyn!!!
