From February 17th to March 19th, there are 6 birthdays--mine, my moms, my girls, & Cathy's kiddos. To celebrate my mom's 60th this year we had a combined birthday party at my mom and dad's house. This also saved a lot of weekends for everyone involved making trips back and forth for birthday parties which as been a relief in this hectic month.
Cathy and I planned the party and Cathy did a FANTASTIC job decorating small cakes for the birthday crew--Wow! She is so creative. Livi loves Spongebob, but she kept saying that she didn't want a cake and she didn't want the Spongebob figure on her cake. We finally figured out (after almost a full day of having this conversation) that she loved the Spongebob and didn't want anyone else to get it. She was worried that if it was placed on the cake then someone would snatch him up. We reassured her that this would not happen and she was on cloud 9 the rest of the time.

What a great party. Wow! Everyone gets their own cakes? I'm impressed. Around here, we make everyone share. :)
I can SO relate with the SpongeBob story. We have that same convo around here almost daily. Whether it is about the computer, who gets to sit in what chair, or who is last out of the car; Jackson certainly has his own ideas. :)
