We were able to go and meet the family for Halloween this year! Usually it falls during the week so it is not feasible for us to drive down and back on a school night. The kiddos were wired and very energetic. We met at the school parking lot for a 'trunk or treat' and then we hit some houses for candy. 
Miles had the perfect costume for his personality :)
Jocelyn was Bat Girl (we forgot her mask) but she still looked pretty cute :)
Livi wanted to be Tinkerbell (again). Cody got to be a bumblebee. He didn't end up going trick-or-treating with us like we thought he would, but the girls just loved seeing him dressed up. After trick-or-treating, we went to mom and dad's for dinner and play time. I can't believe how far the house-building has come since we were last down! It looks like a completely different place. It will be so nice for mom and dad to have a new (warm) home :)
