Jason and I went on our first date not too long ago using a babysitter. We've been to some of our financial planning classes with a babysitter and we got a babysitter to stay with the girls when some friends of Jason's came into town over the summer but other than that, we've been lucky to have grandparents take them for a weekend when we needed some down time. Friday night though, Jason and I went to dinner and a movie and left the girls in someone else's hands. It was fantastic!
We were some of the crazy people who pre-bought tickets to New Moon and stood in line just to sit down! Wow! Usually we avoid opening weekend for such a movie but it was actually pretty fun to go to it this way. The crowd had a lot of 'young 'uns' in it and they certainly livened it up.
The girls had a great time at home too. It's so nice to be able to leave them in good hands. The babysitter's facebook post sums it up. She wrote that she:
loves babysitting..strawberry chocolate malts, dancing and singing to Mama Mia with my favorite girls...and I get PAID for this?!
