Holiday Fun

We went to visit the family, of course, for Christmas and what a great time! We started celebrating the Sunday before Christmas at my mom and dad's house--great food, opportunity to heckle my sisters and parents, what more could a girl ask for? We got some good pictures of the group even though Olivia REALLY wanted to be in EVERYONE'S family photo--good thing we got the group done first. I'll send the picture to you all (remind me if I forget), but here are some for now.

The girls stayed with my mom and dad and had a WONDERFUL time playing with cousins, Nana and Papa. Jason and I went back to town on Christmas Eve after working on Mon-Tue-Wed. We then moved the party to Jason's parents house and got to spend time with Jason's family. We were well fed once again and had a good time introducing the puppy to his 'cousin' Vinny (My Cousin Vinny, it ought to be a movie title...oh, wait it IS). They got a long better than expected but only because Vinny is so tolerable and well-behaved. Jason's mom and dad spoiled us throughout the visit and the girls had a great time playing with the family.

Cody is proving to be fairly adaptable. We've had him for a little more than a week now and he has already traveled twice. He loves his new bed and toys and plays with them often. He still has some accidents (yuck) but we are doing better there as well. The last few nights he has only woke us up once/night (but he gets up really really early). ah well, the girls are head-over-heels for him and are doing their best to 'love him to death'. I hope it just doesn't actually happen. He has tried to hide from them a couple of times and we are setting limits with the girls to give him a little space. He does, however, fit in Olivia's new Barbie car very nicely...
