- the water leak, of course, which ruined our living room floor
- Jason got cellulitus in his leg from an insect bite (yikes!)
- Jason and Josie both needed glasses--new for Jason
- the deep freeze died
- the ladder to get us into the attic broke
- we've had to call the plumber a couple additional times for randomly occurring little spots of water since the leak
- Livi's winter concert for school (she did so great--more on that later!)
- Livi's first dance recital (will take place this morning)
- work has been CRAZY
- Jason's mom had back surgery and is recovering at home
- and, of course, CHRISTMAS!
Jocelyn reminded me of some of the things we have to be grateful for. She wrote a poem (typed below). This one she did all on here own:
Light
Light is fire burning bright
light helps me see
in the dark peaceful night
light will burn my finger
if I touch it
light is stars falling
from the sky
sending my wishes
to God
light is me
bright and happy
springing with joy
